Overview

Situated on the lively Via Nazionale in the heart of Florence, LiVio Pizzeria presents itself as a standout destination for pizza lovers seeking authentic Italian flavors paired with a warm dining experience. This cozy spot, though modest in size, manages to create an inviting atmosphere that makes every guest feel welcome. It caters to both locals and tourists who crave genuine Neapolitan-style pizzas made with care and attention.

The menu showcases classic favorites like the Pizza Margarita and 4 Formaggi, but it also offers unique creations such as the Pizza Pinocchio and Suprema with truffles, which have earned high praise for their rich, balanced flavors. The dough itself is a signature element—light, chewy, and perfectly crafted—a trait that clearly distinguishes LiVio from many other pizzerias in the area.

Beyond pizza, the restaurant extends its culinary appeal with highlights like the traditional Bistecca alla Fiorentina, rich lasagna, and a notably exquisite tiramisu. These selections underscore the kitchen’s commitment to authentic, high-quality Italian cuisine. The presence of cerveza also complements the menu for those seeking a refreshing accompaniment.

LiVio is praised not only for its food but also for the exceptional service and cleanliness. Guests have noted the staff’s friendliness and attentiveness, with one review highlighting a waiter’s personal touch by switching to French for French-speaking customers. Cleanliness is visibly prioritized; one customer who owns a restaurant himself commended the kitchen’s meticulous hygiene, adding to the sense of trust and comfort.

The restaurant’s compact space means that punctuality is rewarded—arriving early or reserving is wise, especially during busy evening hours when locals flock to savor these pizzas. LiVio Pizzeria targets a diverse audience: from families and casual diners to food enthusiasts seeking authentic Tuscan and Neapolitan cuisine without pretense or compromise.

In sum, LiVio Pizzeria delivers a harmonious blend of traditional Italian fare, attentive service, and a genuine, unpretentious atmosphere that captures the essence of Florence’s gastronomic charm. Whether you're stepping in for a quick takeaway or planning a relaxed meal, LiVio offers an experience that feels both special and sincere.

I found these guys through Google reviews and I haven't regretted it at all. First, their pizzas are very good. The dough is just the right consistency. Second, the restaurant is very clean. The chef is constantly cleaning with a sanitizing liquid. The kitchen is very clean. I know what a clean kitchen is like because I own my own restaurant. Third, the waiters are very friendly. I have a suggestion that would be perfect for this restaurant. They should definitely offer a halal option or two. It would be even better if they offered a halal option. They're doing well. I hope they continue this way.

One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten ! The Suprema (mushroom) and the Crudo e burrata ones are amazing ! Loved every ingredient ! Very fast and lovely service too, the waiter talked to us in French since he guessed we're French. And we waited only 10 minutes for our 2 pizzas to take away ! The portions are huge too and it's not very expensive (13€ and 15€) ! (Only downside is the restaurant is quite small.) I recommend it !

Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had! If there’s a line—wait in it. They seat quickly, service is fast, and the staff is kind and helpful. The dough is what truly sets this pizza apart—perfectly chewy, light, and absolutely delicious. Exceptional in every way!

And the prices were more than reasonable. I had this pizza on my first night and wish I could have gone back because it was so good and delicious. I recommend making a reservation or going early because around 7 it gets packed . Overall, a yummy, friendly pizza place ! PS the tiramisu is super good! It’s one of the best I have ever had !!! A must try for sure .

Good pizza for a good prize! The place is very small so I got take away. The location isn’t great and very few tables. There wasn’t any parking around so probably won’t be back and that’s a shame because the pizza was good!

Excellent pizza. We booked here due to good reviews and we weren't disappointed. It's a small venue and the queue was a sign of it's credibility. Queue went quickly and food arrived quickly. Great food and a good price for how good it was.
